Uh, excuse me? That is literally the biggest red flag I have ever heard in my life and it makes zero sense. Why would you have a baby, which is a lifetime commitment, before you get a ring, which is just a promise to get married? He’s basically trying to trap you and get all the benefits of a wife without actually making it official.
Don’t fall for that nasty trick because what happens if you have the baby and then he still doesn’t want to marry you? You’ll be stuck as a single mom or trapped in a relationship with a guy who doesn’t respect you enough to put a ring on it first. It’s so unfair and honestly it’s super manipulative of him to hold a wedding over your head like a carrot on a stick.
You need to tell him that the ring comes before the baby, period. If he refuses, then you need to walk away because he’s showing you exactly how he views you. You are worth more than being a baby maker for a guy who won’t even commit to you properly, so don’t let him play you like that.
