Godliness is Happiness

I’m not here to judge you but using church or religion as a cover for bad behavior is pretty low, not gonna lie. You hurt someone and then you used something sacred to hide it. That’s a double betrayal and you know it.

The question now is what are you going to do about it? Are you going to keep living this lie or are you going to come clean? Because the longer you let this go on, the worse it’s going to be when the truth comes out. And people at church are going to judge you hard when they find out you used their community to deceive someone.

Revenge sex never actually feels as good in the morning as you think it will. It just creates more pain and more mess. Whatever this person did to you that made you want to hurt them back, you’ve now given them the moral high ground. They did something wrong, but you did something worse by being sneaky and hypocritical about it.

You need to do some real soul searching about who you want to be. Is this the kind of person you are? Someone who uses church as a shield for bad behavior? If not, then make it right. Apologize, come clean, take whatever consequences come. It’s going to hurt but at least you’ll be able to look at yourself in the mirror again.
