Over-verbalizing consent
Foreign guys ask a ton of questions like “Is this okay?” which is good I guess, but it probably feels super awkward to a Filipina. They’re used to just reading the room or looking at body language, so having a guy sound like a doctor giving a check-up probably kills the mood and makes it feel like a weird science experiment instead of a romantic thing.
