That hurts and you have every right to feel rejected and confused by this. But before we go further, is it actually that he prefers porn, or is it that he has a porn addiction that’s become a problem? Because those are different things. One is about you, the other is about his own issues that he needs help with.
Porn addiction is real and it messes with a guy’s brain in ways that have nothing to do with how attractive you are or how good your sex life is. It becomes a compulsion that replaces real intimacy with instant gratification. If that’s what’s happening, he needs to admit he has a problem and get help, whether that’s therapy, a support group, or something else.
But if he’s just being lazy and would rather watch porn than put effort into your sex life, that’s a different conversation. You need to tell him exactly how this makes you feel. Not just “I don’t like it” but the deep stuff, like feeling unwanted and unattractive and lonely in your own marriage.
Either way, this isn’t something you should just accept. Your sex life matters and feeling desired by your husband matters. If he’s not willing to work on this, you have to decide what you’re willing to live with. Don’t spend the rest of your marriage feeling like you’re competing with a screen.
