Understand “Jamaican time” but don’t be rude about it. Sometimes events start late, and people show up late. But don’t use that as an excuse to make her wait for two hours. If you say you’re picking her up at 7, try to be there at 7:15 at the latest. Being respectful of her time shows you care about her feelings.
